Beautiful venue for a wedding. Would have been a 5 but the A.C. is NOT powerful enough for a NC summer. Spent Friday and Saturday sweating making sure everything was perfect.
Love M&M Museum. Fun Island facts, great world seashell collection, nice giftshop, bingo, NC Aquarium marine education programs for kids and fossil dig! Lovely island folks who volunteer their time to keep the place running. Would likely make a nice venue for party as well (with proper decor and tablescape.)
We go yearly for bingo. Great crowd and we get to meet a lot of new folks in excellent circumstances. Facilities well kept up, and missile museum and world class shell exhibition located within.

Excellent small museum featuring the history of the Bumblebee Missile program, development and testing of an early ram-jet engine missile on Topsail Island. The work done here fed into later missile and rocket programs. Video, photo, text displays along with artifacts and mockups.
